Department Of Education

Starting in 1969 with Education as a pass subject and honours being introduced in 2002, the department of Education is a full fledged one with a full time UGC post, though presently staffed by 3 part-time lecturers.

Usually the department holds seminars with the whole-hearted cooperation of teachers and students.Assignments on topics textual and otherwise have been completed by the honours students under the guidance of the departmental teachers.

Remedial classes besides regular ones are held for the students in necessary papers to assure comprehension. Students of the department are encouraged to participate in educational tours conducted by the college. Occasionally they have ventured to write articles for the college and wall magazine.
