Department of Physics

The affiliation for degree course in Science in this college was obtained in the year 1969 from the Calcutta University and that was the initiation of the Department of Physics.

Physics Honours course was given affiliation in 1999 and started from the year 2000 with four full time teachers and one part time teacher for the electronics part along with one laboratory instructor.The department works in collaboration with the department of Computer Science for Practicals and Project works done by the students.
