Admission to the college is open to both boys and girls. Persons passing 10+2 level examination from West Bengal Council of Higher secoundary Education or equivalent (ISC / CBSC) from West Bengal are eligible for admission to degree class. No students from unrecognised open school, correspondence / Patrachar course or private candidate be allowed to be admitted in Under Graduate class of the college.

At time time of admission into degree classes following documents must be produced.

(i) Admit Card of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination in orginal.

(ii) Mark Sheet of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination in orginal.

(iii) Amit Card and Mark Sheet of last qualifiying examination in original.

(iv) Migration Certificate for migrating students in original.

(v) School Leaving Certificate for migrating students in original.

At the time admission photocopies of all documents must be attested by head of the institution last attended.

Courses of Study

Medium of Instruction : English and Bengali

Answer in examination must be in Enlish or Bengali. Answer in any other language will not be accepted. Every student will have to take up ENGC ( Compulsory English of 50 marks) and BNGM ( Compulsory Bengali of 50 marks) or HINM ( Compulsory Hindi of 50 marks) and ENVS ( Environmental Studies of 100 marks) in Part I i.e First Year.
