Calcutta University extended the affiliation for Honours and General degree courses in Computer Science at Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College from the academic session 2001-2002. At present, the intake capacities for each of the courses are 20 students. The first batch passed in both the Honours and General examinations at the University level with fairly satisfactory results. The department can boast of a good laboratory with A.C.
