# Objectives

i. To develop a system to improve the academic and administrative performance of Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College, Kolkata through conscious, consistent and catalytic action.

ii. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices in Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College , Kolkata.

Reading and instruction materials consulted / prescribed to students and additional resources provided through use of participatory (interactive) , innovative modern ICT based methods. In the process of designing and implementation by different teaching departments.
Faculty Maturation Promotion of faculty members through the existing Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) is in the process on a regular basis. Promotion of three faculties are already complete. Promotion of the rest eligible incumbents  are either pending with the external authorities or on the verge of submission to them.
Academic Audit Is in process particularly in view of CAS

Hoisting of National Flag and programme on Independence Day , Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday, College Foundation day, University Foundation day organized every year
Saraswati puja , Rakhi Bhandhan, Holi utsab, Bhasa Dibas, Hindi Dibas, Martyrs day held every year

  • Acting as Nodal Agency

Acting as Nodal Agency of the college for participation in the All India Survey of Higher Education (AISHE) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of the Central Government


The Coordinator, IQAC on behalf of the IQAC of the college registered himself as the Nodal Officer of the college
As Nodal Officer he participated in the training and orientation programmes organized by the State Nodal Agency from time to time starting from January 2012
The college has been registered in the AISHE portal effective 19 Nov.2012
DCF –II for the college have been successfully uploaded for the years 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 respectively on 26/08/2013, 05/10/2013 and 26/11/2014
