Starting in 1969 with Education as a pass subject and honours being introduced in 2002, the department of Education is a full fledged one with a full time UGC post, though presently staffed by 3 part-time lecturers.Usually the department holds seminars with the whole-hearted cooperation of teachers and students.Assignments on topics textual and otherwise have been completed by the honours students under the guidance of the departmental teachers.
