COLLECTION
Presently the library has 24000 (Approx.) books (including gift books), among which 14000(Approx.) are now in circulation. The library also subscribes about 20 popular as well as peer reviewed journals. You can find 4 daily news papers and 2 employment/career oriented news papers in the library. Apart from these there is also a collection of 30 cd’s. All the collection of the library are developed either from the ‘college library fund’ or from ‘UGC fund’.

LIBRARY AUTOMATION
There are 3 terminals in the library, which are connected through LAN (Local Area Network) with the principal’s chamber terminal as well as to the office . Cataloguing of the library automation software is going on. The book circulation system is already automated. Computerized maintenance of remain leers recalls and fine systems are there. The serial control will be automated very soon. INTERNET and E-MAIL facility are available in the library.

LIBRARY RULES
By getting one self admitted as regular student to the college one acquires the right to enjoy the library facilities subject to the prescribed rules and regulations for students.
Every Honours student will get two and every pass student will get one library card from the library only after they place their fees reurds to the library staff.

HOME ISSUE CARD
FOR HONOURS STUDENTS: Two books for 10 days and may be renewed for next 10 days 0only.
FOR PASS STUDENTS: One book for 10 days and maybe renewed for next 10 days.

READING ROOM CARD
There is no separate library card. College I Cards are used as reading room card. One book /journal at a time in issued for reading room.

LIBRARY TIMEING
Library opens on 10-30A.M. and closes on 5:30 P.M. (Monday to Friday)
FOR BOOK SELECTION TIME: (Open access for the students) One student at a time can go to the stalk area and choose tleuit books on their own, between 10:30 A.M. to 12:30P.M.
BOOK ISSUE TIME: 2P.M. to 4:30P.M. (Mon – Fri)
BOOK RETURN TIME: 10:30A.M. to 12:30PM ( Mon – Fri)
Library opens on 10:30AM and Closes on 1:30P.M. on SATURDAYS.
No issue return of books on Saturdays.

READING ROOM TIME
Reading room facility will be available from 11:30 AM to 4PM on Mon to Fri and 11:30AM to 1PM on Saturdays.

FINE/OVERDUE CHARGES
Defaulter failing to return the borrowed books written the stipulated period are liable to be charged @ Rs 1 per day.
